Hungry to know where your food comes from? Join Listen&Breathe this September for an immersive dinner celebrating the end-of-summer harvest. Cooked by Nantucket chef Greg Margolis and guided by the voices of the farmers, fishers, brewers, and bees who grow our food, take the incredible trip through the story of the food we eat. Listen&Breathe create multi-sensory site-specific experiences to challenge how we interact with each other and our environment. For the last two years they’ve travelled two continents finding out how we grow from what’s growing. For the last two months they’ve travelled around the island of Nantucket meeting the local farmers and producers of the food we eat here. They now present the world premiere of Feast: Every Year I Grow Again. The producers featured in the experience include Andrew Spollett head grower at Bartlett’s farm, local beekeeper and chandler David Hitchcock, Oyster farmers Simon Edwards and Chuck Conners, farmers Sam Slosek of Moors End, Carl and Lera Keller of Boat Yard Farm, Dan Southey and Misha Currie of Washashore Farm, cheesemakers Elizabeth and Alex Hitchcock, shepherd Nicole Dupont, Alden Lenhart of The Shire permaculture food forest, Amy Zielinski of Sustainable Nantucket, Carl Sutton from Cisco Brewery and countless more from farther fields. Come hungry. Drinks included. Let’s eat together.
